Title: Application of Linear Programming in Management of Private Hospital/Clinic
Another crucial aspect of the survey was assessing the hospitals’ response to Covid-19. With the pandemic putting a significant strain on healthcare systems, it was important to understand how hospitals managed their Covid-19 testing, vaccination programs, and patient care for infected individuals. I collected data on the number of Covid tests conducted daily and annually, the expenditure on each test, the number of beds allocated for Covid patients, and the impact of the pandemic on the hospitals’ financials.
One of the key sections of the survey involved financial management. I gathered data on the hospitals’ annual budgets, expenditures, and profit or loss figures. Understanding the financial landscape of these institutions was crucial for determining how Linear Programming could help optimize spending, reduce waste, and ensure that the hospitals could maintain profitability while delivering quality care… …
