My Leadership Journey

Musapur Shikhharthi (Students’)  Forum – MSF

Founded on: November 27, 2021

In the heart of rural Bangladesh, nestled along the banks of the Choto Feni River, lies the village of Musapur, a community where the dreams of many children are stifled by the harsh realities of underdevelopment. In this rural setting, the value of education is often overshadowed by the struggle to meet daily needs, and opportunities for personal growth and advancement are few and far between. Witnessing this, I was determined to make a difference. On “November 27th, 2021”, I founded the “Musapur Shikhharthi Forum”, also known as the “Musapur Students’ Forum (MSF)”, with the vision of uplifting the lives of secondary and higher secondary school students in Musapur and surrounding areas by providing education, resources, and opportunities that were otherwise inaccessible to them.

One of the foundational missions of “SDT” was to ensure that “elementary students” in Musapur, many of whom come from extremely impoverished families had the basic educational materials they needed to continue their studies… …

School Under the Sky

During my first year at university, I had the privilege of volunteering with the “Local Education and Economic Development Organization (LEEDO)”, a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving access to education for underprivileged communities. The organization runs a distinctive school initiative called “School Under the Sky,” which aims to provide free, basic education to children in rural areas who do not have the opportunity to attend formal schools due to various socio-economic challenges. This experience profoundly impacted my perspective on education, community development, and my role in contributing to social change.

As a volunteer tutor, I was responsible for helping students understand the basics of their subjects, guiding them through lessons, and offering additional support for those who needed it. I remember how these children were so eager to learn, despite not having the conveniences of a formal classroom—no desks, no chairs, and often limited educational materials. What they lacked in physical resources, they made up for with enthusiasm and curiosity… …
